I love old homes; they really speak to you, if you listen. This particular room was especially my favorite because it was built specifically to hold the family furniture. There’s a lot of unspoken history here and I couldn’t help but sit and wonder what it might be. In fact, I did that a few times throughout our stay, in this red chair. I found this old dress a couple years ago but never found the right spot for it. I finally did and I’d say it was a good fit. What would have made it an absolutely perfect fit? If you would have been there with me so we could have made our own history. You could have had me on the bed, over the bench and on the chair. I’d have even endured rug burns for you, in this room. I mean, there’s a lot of old history there and we could have definitely made some lasting memories of our own. Don’t you think?
