A couple years ago I spent 10 days in Mexico, on the beach at a boutique hotel. It was amazingly beautiful and everything serene. It was days spent in bed, enjoying my partner and waking up to sunrises over the water. This particular morning I was awake first and thought I had quietly crawled out of bed and wrapped up in a satin sheet without waking him, but I was wrong. As I enjoyed the beauty in front of me, I glanced back to see him snapping pictures and gave him a bit of a tease. You can see the day waking up and coming to life in the background, but for me, I’m still cloaked in shadows…
