I often daydream of you, and what it would be like to have you come home to me each day. I imagine the excitement of hearing the car pull up, the sound of your keys in the door, and then the smell of your cologne filling the house. I’d anxiously await you in our bedroom, as you drop your briefcase on the table, slipping off your shoes as you walk down the hallway, and as you undo your tie, unbutton your shirt and let me unbuckle your pants, you climb into bed with me. We enjoy each other, as though it were our first time together. Time stands still, for awhile. Afterwards, we cuddle and talk about the day, before we get ready to meet our friends for dinner… what a wonderful afternoon that would be.
